Hi,

You will need to find a surgeon and ask him or her this question. Many of the instruments needed for a LASIK evaluation are already hand held. It is possible that your local doctor already has the instruments you need.

OK, as a general rule, you will need the following hand-held instruments:

1. Corneal topographer
2. Corneal pachymeter
3. Perhaps a hand-held slit lamp

These are in addition to the instruments that most all doctors already have.

Again, though, you need to find a specific doctor and ask him/her.
