Default Diabetes

I have diabetes type 2 and i am being treated for the last 10-12 yrs
i have my diabetes under control,with medication.
If i cant be treated with Lasik,is there some other laser treatment for me?

Landofoz,

Many diabetics can still have LASIK if their blood sugar is well-controlled and their eyes are otherwise healthy, so the first step would be to ask a qualified surgeon if you can have LASIK. If the answer is no due to your diabetes, then there probably isn't any other laser procedure you can have. However, if you are turned down for LASIK for reasons other than diabetes (for example, thin corneas), then there may be other laser options for you.
